Barometric Pressure Sensing
Barometric pressure is the actual ambient absolute pressure at the sensor's elevation, not sea-level-corrected weather pressure, manifold boost, or vacuum. This revision supports an external analog barometric sensor and an onboard LPS2x sensor where the board target provides one (external setup, onboard setup).
Manifold Absolute Pressure
MAP is the absolute pressure in the intake manifold and is the primary load input for Speed Density. It must be referenced to the correct intake location specified for the engine; an atmospheric reference or boost-only sensor is not a substitute.
Oil Pressure Sensors
Oil pressure can come from an analog pressure sensor or from a digital pressure switch. Open Sensors > Oil pressure for the analog input and low/high voltage-pressure endpoints (oil-pressure dialog). The analog sensor is registered with a 50 ms timeout. A switch is instead assigned under Base Engine > Limits and protection > Oil pressure protection, where Oil pressure source selects switch or sensor operation.
