Electronic Throttle Bias Table
The Electronic TB Bias Table/ETB Bias Curve (Feed Forward) is calculated using the ETB Target value to determine the duty bias. This duty bias is added to the output of the ETB PID loop to arrive at the final ETB duty. Values in this table range from -100% to 100%.
Idle control using ETB
ETB idle control is a cascade. The idle controller determines a position from its open-loop table plus optional closed-loop RPM correction. applyIACposition() sends that position to every ETB controller. In the normal non-torque-model path, ETB target logic converts it into a throttle target, then the separate ETB position PID drives the plate until physical TPS matches.
ETB PID and Autotune
The ETB position loop runs at 500 Hz. For target r and measured position y, error is e = r - y:
ETB pedal target mapping
The electronic throttle target is not a copy of throttle-body TPS. Capoworks converts accelerator-pedal demand through the ETB Pedal to TPS table, whose axes are engine RPM and pedal position. The selected strategy, trim, rev limit, and position limits then modify that value before the ETB position PID attempts to match physical TPS.
